Fraud Sniffr is an information company that helps attorneys and insurance companies identify customers of theirs who have current financial matter under dispute. A Social Media Investigator (Sniffr, for short) is trained to locate these customers online using general online search practices, including Boolean search, public government databases, and other tactics that are a combination of linguistics and technology.

The Sniffr will be provided starter information and trained to use this information to locate and confirm the identity of the person of interest online. During the course of a day, the Sniffr will complete at least four and up to seven complete searches. Detail and accuracy is more important than speed in this job, although a certain level of efficiency is required.

This position is a PERMANENT work-from-home opportunity.

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications/attributes:

1)     Positive, can-do attitude and strong work ethic.

2)     English, criminal justice, research or humanities degree with excellent spelling, grammar and punctuation skills.

3)     Computer skills including Word, CSV, Excel, PDF, PDF Editing, Database management, content management.

4)     Willingness to look at content of all kinds, some of which may be disturbing in nature

5)     Ability to work from home, including a dedicated work space within your home and high speed Internet access.
